April 4-6, 2025 : World Premiere of Gal Young ʻUn, a new opera by Mark Taggart (composer) and Ann McCutchan (librettist), based on the short story by Marjorie Kinnan Rawlings. Produced by East Carolina University Opera Theatre. Friday and Saturday at 7:30pm; Sunday at 2:30pm. Farmville Community Arts Councilʻs Paramount Theater (3723 N.
